Seats for side entry valves.
Our seats are mounted in bolted or welded Side Entry Ball Valves.
The seats may be soft or metallic, depending on the valve application.
Mainly the types of seats are:
- Soft seal with thermoplastic hard insert.
- Soft seal with elastomeric Delta-ring.
- Soft seal with elastomeric O-Ring.
- Metal seal (MTM).
The designs differ in single piston effect (SPE) or double piston effect (DPE)
In both solutions the pressure exerted on the seats, although in different ways, allows the seats to adhere to the ball, guaranteeing the right seal.
For each solution, the choice of sealing materials is strictly dependent on valve applications. Pressure, operating temperature, fluid flow type, etc., are critical to the evaluation.
