Elastomeric materials are used for the production of o-rings and delta rings for the soft seat seals.
They are also extensively used for mounting o-rings in the back seat profile such as sealing gaskets with closure, braces, etc.
Gaskets are produced with different compounds and hardnesses. The choice of the elastomer type is subject to precise valve pressure indicators, operating temperatures, fluid flow type or gas flow.
The gaskets are also provided with the AED (Anti Explosive Decompression) condition, mainly used for gas flow.
The hardness of the gaskets is mainly 98 SH, 90 SH, 75 SH.
The elastomeric rings are stored in specially packaged labels bearing the traceability requirements and deposited in a suitable air-conditioned environment to maintain constant temperature throughout the year and kept in the dark room.
Preferably selected materials according to the application requirements are:
|ELASTOMER CATEGORY||MATERIAL DENOMINATION|
|HYDROGENATED NITRILE RUBBER||HNBR - HNBR AED|
|FLUORINATED RUBBER||FKM/VITON A AED – FKM/VITON B AED – FKM/VITON GLT AED - FKM/VITON GF AED – TFE AFLAS (new generation)|
